Step Back

Low moments today. Zoey has developed a blod clot around her central line that has apparently been there for awhile, which they discovered when the pressure of the pump pushing things in was working harder. "Happens commonly" with a foreign body that the body reacts to it, as I can recently attest to with my staph infections in my wrist due to my hardware. They have removed the line & put in another periphery line & hopefully she only needs that for a few days & then possibly no line at all, if everything goes as possibly well as it can. They also down-graded her level of c-pap, which means back to the big tube & hat to try & help her work a little less to get the fluid off her lungs. Sally is back tonight so she is able to spend some time with her today, as I'm still not able to be around until I get cleared tomorrow at my doctor appointment.
